Predators thrive on guilt

While real America slowly dies

Let's take the environmental lobby as an example. Its basic premise is that our standard of living has been achieved at the expense of the environment. We've cooked the planet, raped its resources, and committed unspeakable crimes against the environment, just so we can drive around in Cadillac Escalades. The idea resonates. Guilt is Christian and needs absolution. In America, the truth is, the environment has steadily improved, global warming is not forever, resources are still plentiful, wildlife has become a pest in urban environments, and Escalades are passé (The Buick Enclave is so much better).

Yet, Al Gore is making millions telling us we should do everything we can to reduce CO₂ emissions. If he'd just shut up we'd be done. But, his mere act of going somewhere and opening his mouth increases CO₂ emissions way beyond the capacity of average Americans. He doesn't see the irony. I'd say we need more CO₂ in the atmosphere; the plants like it and we need what happy plants produce. Al Gore, fly on; the plants implore you..

Our standard of living is a consequence of our environmental concerns. Our cities are no longer smothered in smog. Our green spaces are expanding. Pollution has been reduced. Trees thrive in our cities.

Then we have the race predators. Non-black America is supposed to feel guilty because Afro-Americans are not succeeding. Obama's spiritual adviser thinks that way. But many Afro-Americans are succeeding. Despite all the problems, black America has a higher standard of living than socialist paradises, like Sweden. Unfortunately, the race predators exacerbate the problems that do exist by blaming "whitey". So, what is whitey supposed to do? Feel even more guilty?
